Hydraulic Cone Crusher — Crushura

Typical Working Conditions

This is a slag processing line running a multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher. The crusher works continuously. The material is highly abrasive, and tramp iron comes through occasionally. These are the conditions the wear parts have to work in.

The Wear Parts Work as a Set

The wear parts on a cone crusher are a group that works together: crushing liners (the concave and mantle, also called the bowl liner and crushing wall), the eccentric bushing, the main shaft, guard plates, hydraulic cylinders, the hydraulic power unit, hydraulic piping and hydraulic seals.

Materials and Customization

Our crushing liners are made of high-manganese chromium alloy and can be custom-made for different models and different brands of crushers. The eccentric bushing is made of 20CrMnTi or 42CrMo alloy steel, quenched and tempered. The main shaft surface is hardened.

Three Points from the Field

  • Discharge opening management (CSS) is directly tied to liner life. A CSS that stays too small over a long period will clearly accelerate wear.
  • Replacing only the mantle and not the concave leaves the crushing chamber profile mismatched. Output and particle shape both get worse. Replace the liners as a set.
  • The hydraulic system is the key to tramp iron protection. An oil leak on a hydraulic cylinder is not just a leak, it is protection failure. Check hydraulic oil and seals on schedule.
